Sponsorship of ICHC-22
Attention Sponsors in addition to the many benefits of sponsoring ICHC-22, The International Union of Pure and Applied Chemistry (IUPAC) will provide a one
year complimentary Company Associate Membership, to those that sponsor the conference. This membership will provide a subscription to the Union's
bimonthly news magazine, Chemistry International and will allow you to have a voice in IUPAC's policy and direction, to promote and advance chemistry in the international arena. Sponsors interested in this complimentary membership should simply note this in their sponsorship information and the ICHC-22 organizing committee will ensure the membership is activated.
The 22nd International Congress on Heterocyclic Chemistry (ICHC-22) is scheduled for August 2-7, 2009 in St. John’s, Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada. We would like to provide you with some details of this international event and opportunities to support this Congress.
These meetings held every two years are truly international events where approximately 600 outstanding organic and medicinal chemists congregate to share ideas and research results on a variety of topics and themes which include:
• New methods in heterocyclic chemistry
• Applications of heterocycles in organic synthesis
• Biologically active heterocycles
• Heterocyclic natural products and their analogues
• Heterocycles in materials science
ICHC-22 has assembled an elite selection of 10 plenary and 20 invited speakers and present a special symposium in honor of Prof. Victor Snieckus, to celebrate his research accomplishments and long term contribution to the field. Please see the list of speakers at the Congress site
(www.ichc2009.ca).
We ask you to review the opportunities available for your company to support the Congress.
We have identified options on direction to allocate your support, however we appreciate that you may prefer to have your contribution directed in a manner that better fits your needs and your budget and we are open to partnership suggestions and ideas.
